One of the major setbacks on moving in our new place (besides lack of motivation and laziness) was this hunk of junk.
Overhauling this dresser/changing table has been on my to do list since I was pregnant with Hayden, but I never got around to doing it.
I finally got the motivation and determination to get to work, but we moved. When we got here to lafayette, Ron promised that we could do it before school started. He came through on the promise.
It took 3 days and fifty bucks ( most of that was hardware) in supplies to complete the transformation. I can't even begin to explain how much I love this piece now. It is so clean and pretty. My favorite part of it are my squiggle handles. Ronwas gracious enough to let me splurge on those.
There was such great shape and character hidden beneath all that brown vin ear! Ron and I are in love with it now. It really pulled the nursery all together, and made it seem bigger!
Now we are just doing a few cosmetic details in the nursery, and it'll be done!! It only took a year, but oh well. We sure love how it is turning out! Pictures to come soon!

Love the dresser! Nice work! The house looks good! Can't wait to see the inside pictures when you get it all set up! And that picture of the spider... YUCK I'm freakin out over here! uh!!!! Good luck getting everything unpacked and organized. IT's a pain. I feel like Colum and I are still getting things set in our house.... It's never ending! Glad to hear things are going well for you!
