Tidbits from my brain

Random things bouncing around in my brain...

So one if the first things :

I noticed when we pulled up to our new house was the trashyness of the yard. It was awful. I could tell the landlord had sunk a lot if work into it already, but man just looking at it, you could tell the previous tenants did not care what the yard looked like. It was garbage. take pride in the way your home looks people!! I dont care if you own or rent!! You can keep thing's nice without spending tons of money.

It took two days of doing yard work to get this place decent. It looks 50 times better but still needs quite a bit of work(major weeding in the lawn).

The pictures don't even do it justice.

2: why on earth is taking us so long to move in this time around. This move is number 9 for ron and I. You would think by now we would be super fast at unpacking. I am so indecisive about where to put things this time around. You would thing 350 extra square feet would be easier to put things away, but it isn't.
We literally still have every room to finish. Pathetic.

I have been very paranoid about the organization here. I want it perfect. Everything needs to have its tote or basket or specific place. If anyone has seen our storage tote collection they would understand. It's a bit ridiculous.

3:The creatures in this place are insane. Can we talk about this for a minute? The insects are every where. They are way loud too!!! We find spiders or webs in every corner in our house, and it's ridiculous in the yard. They are gross and super big... I am not even kidding. This one time both Ron and I dry heaved.

Exhibit A
Check that mama out.... And I mean mama. She had babies crawling all over her back. This thing was the size of Gracie's palm!

On a lighter note we have cute bunnies, squirrels and cardinals that live in the forest in our back yard. They come on the grass every morning for breakfast. It's cute and the kids love it.

4th thing: I am not ready to be a single mom again. Saying goodbye to Ron again for another 4 years is the pits.

This time around I have made a good argument for some sort of pet. Ha that's a story for another time. I left him speechless my argument was so good, which is huge for Ron. He does not want an animal!

5: Life is good here in Indiana. We have already made tons if friends and by tons I mean 3 couples.  Ba hahahaha. Hayden has friends.  We are in love with our house, the town, and our life of just being our own little family.

6: I am out of school and suddenly my lists of projects triple!! Some of them are making a head board, re furbishing more furniture cause it is what I do and love and we cant afford new stuff. I have lots of sewing, and just making this house feel more homey. I have only until December to get them all done! Thank heavens I already started a big one today.

Despite the random things that life Throws at us. I think Life is great. Church is true. I have the best kids ever. What more could I ask for.

Ps welcome to the inside of my brain.... I swear it switches from topic to topic in a matter of seconds.
