A definate must see if you are ever in Logan is Logan Canyon. Beautiful and Breathtaking are the two words that come to mind whenever I think about it.
One sunday afternoon was a particularly restless day for me. I spend about 80% of my time at home, and I was ready to be out and about. I asked Ron if we could take a Drive through Logan Canyon to see the changing leaves. This is why I love fall! I never could enjoy changing leaves in St. George they usually just froze and fell. Ron and Agreed and this is what we saw. Apparantly this time around Fall hadn't quite made it yet. The more we drove up the canyon the more it changed, but it was beautiful none the less. I only wish I had accepted that it was in fact cold cause Hayden was barefoot and I had basically a long sleeved shirt and that was it. Curse my denial of winter coming.
Ron's parents came up one weekend, and they specifically said they wanted to see the canyon. I took them up there (ron was at an acsm conference in rheno). This time was definately not a disappointment as far as changing leaves are concerned. It was amazing!!!! I loved everything about our little walk in Nature, and so did Hayden.
My favorite picture by far is the one of the waterfall. I wish I had a photographer and my husband there. I would have definately taken some family photos there.
When Ron's parents left they took Hayden. Remember when I said we love mini moons? We enjoyed ourselves 5 days of pure baby free bliss. Not only is this good for our marriage, but its good for me in particular. Hayden is seriously my all time pal and companion. He is with me every single minute of the day except nap time and bedtime, and even then I'm on call. You all know what I mean. Anyways when ever I am faced with pro-longed over night absence of Hayden I literally have panic attacks. Ron has to re-teach me to breath. I'm not kidding. Anyways these little Hayden free spurts have really helped me get over it, and know other people are just as competant of taking care of my child as I am. Anyways back to my point....
While Hayden was gone Ron and I embarked on a hike to the Logan Canyon Wind Tunnels. The hike was drudgerous and long. It said it was a light 1.8 mile hike... LIES ALL LIES!!!! okay maybe the length was right but the "light" part was a lie. It was completely up hill at about a 45 degree incline. INSANE!!! Well worth the views and the result in the end. We had a ton of fun doing it.
By the way the above picture is of me making fun of ron and his little show off his back pack pose. I don't normally pose like a dork unles imitating my hunky dorky husband.
If you are ever here in logan to visit. 2 things are a must see. Us and Logan Canyon. We are soooo excited to see winter and spring when it comes!
