Ahhhh Logan

Where to begin with our life in here in Logan.

Our life here started out pretty rough. New Town, New School, New people. Needless to say we were and still are a little bit out of our comfort zone. We have had some other rough challenges to battle through, but honestly as hard, and tear jerking as they have been, I wouldn't trade them for the world. I know my Heavenly Father knows us well, knows that whatever challenges that have been thrown our way are only for our benefit.

Some of the Happy notes that have happened that have happened while here in logan go as follows...
These pictures are a little bit of July but mostly August and September happenings.

My sister Mekelle and her sweet Hubby Gene welcomed Kade Edward Davis into their family in July. We were having a little family reunion when it happened, and conveniently the day Ron and I were going home too. On the way home we went and met our new tiny nephew. I am in love. He is such a cute little bundle of joy.  (side note: Hayden wasn't allowed in the where Mekelle was so my mom played with him in the waiting room while we met Kade)

I am proud and not ashamed that Ron and I are poor. Its pretty ridiculous actually, but with the lack of money comes a lot of improvizing as to what we can do to entertain ourselves as well as hayden. Lucky there are some amazing parks in Logan. This one that we decided to go to is at the base of Logan canyon. It has an amazing lake on it; which makes it a great place for a picnic and swimming, but in our case wading in the water cause it was frigid.
Hayden LOVED IT THERE! Love is in fact an understatement.

Also in August but not picture in this post was Florida! Love it there and I want to go back!
September is what I like to call no photography month. I don't know how, and I don't know why, but I literally took like 5 photos in september due to the fact that it was a really challenging month on all of us. I had no desire to document anything. Shame on me!
Some of the events included...
My birthday: Ron secretly organized our Friends Colum and Jackie to come down and visit. This made my day and actually my whole month! I needed some of that back home comfort of Idaho. He also got me the complete series of Gilmore Girls (favorite tv show of all time), and also he bought me 2 new fish because sadly phil and coral died. Yes one of those ridiculous things that only I got sad about.  Anyways our new fish sorry they aren't pictured are Rocko and Lola.

I also braved the 6 hour drive with Hayden to St. George alone. I am glad to say we stopped once and made it in 5.5. hours. phew! While there I got one picture and that is the one of Hayden sleeping. The little bugger will only let my dad put him to sleep this way, and low and behold he sleeps just like he does. I swear the kid his my dad's clone.

My mom came up and visited for a few days and then headed up to Idaho to visit my sister. The dear woman took Hayden with her so Ron and I could have a weekend to regroup with just him and I. I am a huge fan of mini-moons. They are so good Ron and I and our marriage. You forget what its like to really spend time with one another alone. While he was gone we decided to hit up the USU homecoming football game. We lost. oh well it was fun while it lasted.

Last but not Least Ron started school. This is a picture of him and little man on his first day of school. He was very polite to oblige me in a photo op, but after about 5 pictures he was done and told me he wasn't in kindergarten anymore. hahah love him.

Anyways there is August and September for ya... I tell ya what October is chalk full of pictures. I realized that I didn't take that many in the months before, but I got back on the wagon and started clicking away. Gotta keep our life documented visually.
