I Live!!

So after a year long hiatus, the Garner's are back. Long story short  school was crazy and then my app for my phone didn't work. This left me un able to update. Top it off my computer died, which isn't a problem because we did have 2, but the other is always with Ron at school. So there is that.

I'm trying to think of the best way I can get back up to date and I am thinking just posting pictures from the last several months will have to do. Hopefully I can remember my life that far back.

Until then.... quick recap of our life.

Ron
Still in school and is busier than ever... I'm truly not sure how that's possible, but it is. He is finally writing his dissertation proposal and working on finishing up data collection so he can write his dissertation.... have I ever mentioned how much work a PHD is? Seriously so much work.  On top of school work he is a dad and husband (I think we knew that). He is Ward membership clerk which wouldn't be a big deal but the last ones didn't do their job, and now he is playing catch up.  When he isn't doing those things he hangs out with me or the guys from lab and he has recently been getting back to the driving range. He was struggling with severe anxiety with school, and I decided golfing was a cheaper and happier way to give him some down time. He is loving it.

Me:
yeah haven't gotten around to posting it here, but I am pregnant. Almost 30 weeks. This pregnancy is seriously flying by, and because I just said that I jinxed myself. We are having another baby boy, and we are all so excited to have a baby brother around. It's so far been the easiest pregnancy I have had, and I am so grateful. Normally they are pretty rough.  I also graduated with my bachelor's degree!! HALLELUJAH!!! In the near future after the baby is born I plan on working 1-2 days a week to help supplement our income, but for now I am enjoying my much less stressful life.   That's about it for me. My life is currently absorbed in keeping my tiny humans alive and happy. I should also mention that I am nesting something fierce.  Every inch of my house is nothing but dirt and clutter. I am tackling that one thing at a time, and slowly feeling like I can breathe again.

Hayden:
Just turned 7!!!! Birthday post coming soon. He finally had his first loose tooth and seriously could not be more excited.  He also starts second grade a week from today.  He loves to build (yeah it hasn't changed his entire child hood) legos are his favorite. He also loves to play wii, hang out with his bestie John, and to read.
He is quite the handful, but also my best helper. He is probably the one who is most excited to have a boy coming to the family. Not that we aren't excited, but he has literally been praying for a brother since we found out I was have Rosie. We are so happy his prayers are being answered. He thrives on being treated like a grown up. We just love that little mister man of ours.

Grace:
Our sensitive sweet Grace. She just turned 5 two weeks ago.  She has started to do gymnastics and absolutely LOVES it. We knew she would. She is always found climbing and monkeying around on the trampoline and swing set. She too starts school next week but it's a huge milestone for her, because it's Kindergarten. She asks me every day "how many more days till school starts mommy?"   She has always loved to learn. I am excited to watch her be challenged and grow in the next year.  Grace still loves art, all things my little pony, and puzzles.

Rose:
AKA THE TINY TERRORIST OR THE TINY TOT  depending on what you catch her doing. She is also known as the sour patch kid.  The names say it all. She is naughty but also our snuggliest loviest child we have had. She is he first to do something naughty, but also the first to console anyone crying or having a hard time.   She can get away with murder I swear, and it's not just with parents but the kids do it too. She bats her baby blues and she just has anyone wrapped around her tiny fingers. Rosie loves all things baby dolls, purple and princesses.  Every day she has to wear a dress to be a princess.  She also loves beauty and the beast and moana. Which now that I think about it... fits her personality so well. She is so excited for baby brother to come. She feels my tummy every day and asks if baby brother is kicking. Then she proceeds to tell me about the baby girl she as in her tummy, and I get to feel her baby kick. We are pretty excited to have some real alone time together before baby brother comes. We are also excited to take care of our babies together. It's going to be fun.

There is our life in a nutshell. Life is busy, wonderful, chaotic and beautiful all in one!
