27

Yesterday was such an amazing day. Ron went above and beyond for my birthday and it was so fun.

I arranged for a babysitter as a birthday present for myself. I did this last year and it was so fun to just have a day to do my own thing and not worry about kids. As soon as I had the girls buckled in the car, I got in the driver's seat to find a small balloon and three envelopes.

He was sending me on a birthday scavenger hunt. I was pretty excited to see what he had in store for my special day.

I had just done a pedicure on myself like three days before so I opted to go shopping. I haven't bought much since I had Rosie because I wanted my baby weight gone first. Turns out I am a blessed soul who doesn't lose weight while breastfeeding. I was tired of feeling like a hobo, and I had the hubbies permission so off to gordman's I went.

I ended up with a shirt and 2 pairs of shoes.

Ron set my alarm to open my next clue... So I did and I ended up having lunch at Applebee's with my good friend Melanie. We didn't get a picture together which I am mad about.

Lunch was great and full of good conversation. I couldn't have asked for a better time. At 1:15 another alarm went off and it was time to read my next clue. Ron was tricky this time. He cut out the clue and I had to piece it together.

His clues were getting funnier and funnier. I sure that man and his sense of humor.

Turns out he took my van and switched me for his Taurus cause he wanted me to have even MORE baby free time. What a sweet guy.

When I got into the Taurus there was even more clues set out for me.

Number four had me crying I was laughing so hard. Never has a clue been more Ron like and hilarious! He knew since I was nursing Rosie that I would be feeling the need to nurse again soon, and since Rosie was with Ron he hid my pump and a cover under the passenger seat. When I turned on he car Ron had set the radio for song "PUMP IT" by black eyed peas to come on. I was dying. He is so clever and so great.

It wasn't quite two thirty yet so I decided that since I didn't get the jeans I wanted that I would go back and keep shopping for a while longer. It was quite successful. I found 2 pairs of jeans, and 3 shirts. Then 2:45 came and Ron told me he wanted me to come home now.

I got home and apparently it still wasn't over. I had to blindfold myself and walk inside. When I walked in he, Grace, rose and the missionaries took time the decorate the whole house for me and made a cake. When Hayden got home we opened presents, ate cake, and played blokus. It was great. Ron made me a vanilla cake with strawberry frosting.

I also got a knock on the door and received a bouquet of beautiful flowers and balloons from my mom and dad.

After that it was about dinner time and we decided to go out and get a bite to eat at McCallisters a local deli. It was yummy and the perfect topper to my day.

After dinner we had our friends Melanie and Brandon come over for more partying, chit chat and cake. It was the perfect topper to my day. I felt so loved and by my sweet family and friends. It is definitely on my top 3 list of best birthdays.
After Mel and Brandon left we walked back in our house, and boy was it a sight to behold. It was torn apart from all our partying and festivities. It was the perfect sign to show fantastic my day was.

When I woke this morning Ron had he house completely cleaned, vacuumed and ready to take on the weekend.

Man did I marry up. Thanks babe for the amazing birthday, and for treating me like a queen. So far 27 has been a blast!
