This little girl of mine has sure grown up these last 6 months. She is no longer a baby, and this last week put her over the top in the big girl world. My little Gracie girl is potty trained. Hallelujah!!!! Only 1 child in diapers!
Yesterday afternoon I randomly just decided to potty train her. I didn't have anywhere to go so I thought "why not!?"
My potty training experience with Grace is night and day different than with Hayden. Poor Hayden just didn't want too,
And he was so scared too. It literally took months to get him trained. This is very typical of his personality. Timid and likes to take his time. Grace on the other hand was potty trained in 24 hours. She had one very small accident today, but that was it. I didn't hardly have to remind her, she just went on her own. There were times she went, wiped, flushed, washed her hands and flipped lights off without me even knowing that she had gone in there.Once she put her mind to it there was no going back. It's been a whirl wind and it's been awesome!
Like Hayden, Grace got to pick out a new toy that equalled the price of a box of diapers once she had a certain number of stickers on her chart. She picked out a "fur" real pet. She originally picked daisy the kitty cat but when we got her home she didn't work. So we took her back. Sadly the store was out of the kitties so we got Pom Pom the panda bear. She and Hayden both love it and have been found all day today playing "mom and dad" to Pom Pom. It's the cutest thing ever!
Good job Gracie! We are so proud of our big girl!
