San Fransisco was amazing!!! It was the most perfect timing and place to visit as our last little get away before we become parents of two. The sites were nothing but beautiful well apart from the bums on the street. It had everything that Ron and I love to do.
We arrived pretty early Wednesday morning. First thing we did after we checked into our hotel was explore the sites of downtown Market street, and eventually headed over to the ACSM conference. That conference was the whole reason we went to San Fran by the way.
After brunch we found a little farmer's market and decided to go explore. Is it just me or are farmer's markets just so fun! I love to see all the vendor's and eat all the samples. My mouth is still watering at some of the fresh organic cherries that a man gave me because I was an expectant mama. I could already tell being pregnant was going to pay off in this town. Anyways while exploring the farmer's market we stumbled onto City Hall! I couldn't believe how huge it was! It looks like the state capital in SLC!

We didn't get done with the conference until around 6 that evening, but once it was done we freshened up jumped in our little rental car and decided to go explore fisherman's wharf. The food down there was nothing short of amazing there, and well the picture below just proves that it was absolutely stunning.
The view of Alcatraz from Fisherman's Wharf.
Ron and I made a little mistake by going to a too high end of a restaurant our first night. We felt a little stupid cause we were under dressed, and the waiter's were wearing tuxedos. Notice Ron's hoodie? Yeah we felt lame. We bought them because we forgot jackets. Not only did we have hoodies on, but it was a touristy San Fransisco Hoodie. It was all we could find that wasn't over the top, and we had to have them cause San Fransisco is FREEZING at night.
Ron's meal looks and was tiny, but thankfully we got fresh baked sour dough bread with it, and we filled up just fine. He got three different kinds of fish on top of garlic mashed potatoes. Who would of thought to put garlic mashed potatoes and fish together? I wouldn't, and Ron couldn't stop commenting on how amazing his plate was.
Needless to say our $58.00 (yep it was a steep minimum of $25 dollars a plate restaurant) at Alioto's was definitely worth it. Ron and I couldn't believe how incredible it was, and how full we were after.
I must add that while the food was amazing. I was impressed because it was all healthy! That was a number one like about San Fransisco that both Ron and I had. You could definitely find unhealthy food, but why would you when everything is fresh and Organic?! Totally up Ron and My alley. Ron loved that there was a health Food tax on the food. If you know him well enough you will know that we wants to run for office, and putting a junk food tax was on his list of things we would try and initiate. hahaha love his quirkiness.
The other awesome part was that the view from the restaurant was incredible. We could see Alcatraz, The golden Gate bridge and Guiradelli square. If you ever go to San Fransisco hit this place up. It was to die for.
We headed back to the hotel the rest after dinner. We were beat from traveling and wanted nothing more than sleep.

Nice story of your travels. It is always a good idea to spend one meal at a place where quality is the object. The memories you will have will be with you for a really long time. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a fabulous trip! Glad you got to go before your baby girl comes! That's perfect. You look so cute in front of the wharf btw...
A junk food tax? Haha...you can't be serious. Are you a democrat, Ron? I still need to visit this place!
Wow, I just read my last comment. That sounded really harsh, when I didn't mean it to. I guess you know how I feel about more taxes now. :) I'm very passionate these days about politics, and I should watch what I say. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. I didn't mean to.
