San Fransisco- Day 2

 Day 2-

We spent the majority of the day at the conference. Ron had to present his research project, and we explored all the different exercise vendors. I loved it! There are some awesome exercise research/ equipment out there that only the exercise phys world knows about.  Tons of free samples, massages, and such. My souvenir from that day was some lotion made of nothing but pure aloe Vera. The stuff was pretty spendy, but oh my word its amazing!!! It works on everything from acne, excema, dry hands and canker sores to diaper rashes!!! It was a most excellent purchase.

Lets go to the fun stuff though and start with the beginning of our day.

This was the view from the little bakery we ate at for breakfast. San Fransisco is known for amazing food, and again this little bakery didn't disappoint. We got fresh homemade organic smoothies. I got a banana walnut muffin to go along with it, and Ron got a Sausage, Egg sandwich on a crescent roll. It was delicious and out did gandolfo's breakfast sandwiches... that is really saying something.

This is my sexy husband at his presentation... Doesn't his poster just look like a bunch of gibberish!? I only understand it  because he has been explaining the dumb thing to me for over 2 years now. What a smarty pants, and listening to him explain it was mind boggling and definitely attractive.

Here is where the fun begins...... After the conference.

After the conference we hit up this shopping mall thing... here is the catch it was a shopping mall of nothing but food!!!!! We hit up a small Korean Restaurant. My brother Dave served his mission there, and basically got us hooked on the stuff. This place definitely didn't disappoint. We got Bolgogi famously known in America as Korean BBQ, Lemon Chicken, Noodles, Pot stickers, and Kim Chi.

After our early dinner we decided to site see and explore town through our car (my feet were getting pretty swollen from all the walking). We stumbled upon this beauty... Lombard St. Another Definite San Fransisco must see/do. Its the crookedest (yes I said crookedest) street in the world, and yes cars do drive down it. We did!  Isn't it beautiful!!!! I wouldn't mind living on this street apart from the tourists. The houses were just as incredible as the street was.
The streets... Oh man the streets! DOWN RIGHT SCARY TO DRIVE!!! I have never seen such steep hills in my life! I thought we were going to wreck on about half of them!!!

Eventually we made our way to Guirardelli Square.  I loved it here! The views were incredible, and who doesn't love Guirardelli chocolate... or better yet ICE CREAM!!!!!! Plus the beach was right in front. We spent the majority of our time walking on the beach holding hands. I was completely in love with everything about this night, but mostly I was just in love with the company.

Don't I look like such a tacky tourist!! hahahah jeans, tennis shoes, and a hoodie. Yuck. It sure was warm and comfy though. ps look very closely... Ron and I matched hahahahahaa talk about double lame and cheesy!!!!!!!!!

Like I said the views were incredible. We saw Golden Gate Bridge
 Alcatraz

I got to stare at him....
 and of course the city.

There was a great pier that we walked out on the water for quite a ways, This let us get a 360 degree view of the city. This is were most of the scenic pictures were taken. It was beautiful!

After Guirardelli Square, Ron was feeling adventurous and wanted to drive on the bay bridge over to Oakland. Apparently it was a bad idea because Oakland is really dangerous we were later told. We couldn't pass up going to visit the temple though. How safe can you get!? It was like going home!! Plus look at it!
 Its Beautiful!

After the temple we meandered back to our hotel. Got lost a couple of times (THANK HEAVENS FOR SMART PHONES AND GPS!) We enjoyed the conversation and views though. So we didn't mind being lost for a bit.
