Ode to Russia

Just after I got back from St. George my friend Vika whom I went to Russia with asked me if she could take me to lunch. I was excited cause I had just run into about a month ago for the first time since we left each other to go home in Chicago 2 years ago!!! She said she was bringing her roommate Hayley along who just got back from Russia. Here is the awesome part she actually stayed with my host family!!! We had so much to talk about. We went to this delicious Thai resturant and just talked and reminised about everything. It was such a great afternoon.

I realized how much I really miss Russia, and how much I have forgotten already. Vika was reminding me of things that I completely forgot happened!! It was so much fun, but afterwards I wanted nothing more than to be in Russia a place I will always call home. If you would have told me that when I moved there that I would consider it home I wouldn't have believed you, but it is. I miss everything about it even the crappy stuff!
