Since the big move in day to our little house I've been dying to find a cute center piece for our table. I looked every where when Ron and I went shopping, but I didn't feel right about spending money with school in just a month. Of course I found them before we got married, but didn't have the gift cards like we have now. So I just longed for them. Well yesterday ron let me off the leash yesterday, and told me to go to target to get a few things for the house. Of course my friend Chantel and I were thrilled for a couple of reasons 1: it was a little girl's outing, and I hadn't seen here since the reception which i didn't even get to talk to her. 2: Because we got to get home decor stuff. Well naturally we couldn't find anyting that totally caught our eye, so we decided to be a bit creative and make a center piece. We found this really cute vase for about 5 dollars and the rocks were $3 and we went all to a bunch of places for just the right flower. I was really wanting to do something kinda contemporary with just a simple orchid or two but we found these geraniums and thought they would do that trick. Mostly cause they were the cheapest we could find. I still like them though. Ron liked the center piece when I finished and I quite agree I like it too! I think it might need one more in it though. What do you think. All in all my little project cost about 24 dollars. Which was a steal compared to the other already made center pieces we looked at. Plus it might mean more to me later cause its my first little project. I've decided I like doing little knick Knack things that make my house look cute. Chantel and I went all over and I found some really cute ideas of things that I could easily make for way cheaper then being store bought. So hopefully I'll be posting more projects soon.
