Hayden turned 7 at the end of May. We happened to be in Utah at the time. We spent the day with Grandma Garner at Boondocks. We played mini golf, later tag, bumper boats and go carts.  That night we went to my sister Rachel's house. While there we played with cousins, ate pizza and cake, and opened presents. Hayden proclaimed it the best birthday he ever had.

It was definitely one for the books.

Dear Hayden,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS BIG 7 year old!!! We are so lucky to have you in our family. You are the best big brother to your sisters and a friend to everyone you meet. You are brilliant (I'm not just saying that cause I am your mom either), sensitive and always making us laugh. At 7 Your favorite colors are gold, black (boiler up!) blue and green. Your favorite food is cereal,  favorite thing to do is build legos and play with your friends, And as always you always act older than you are. You have a an old soul and it might be one of my favorite things about you (am I allowed to have a favorite thing)? HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTER MAN! Mom and dad sure love you!
