St. George week 1

This summer has been a bit crazy and very stressful for our family this year. Both Ron and I are entering or last yet of school, making the work load harder and longer.  Ron in particular was finishing up final classes while trying to study for Doctoral candidate Testing.  He was gone so much. Finally after speaking with him a bit and my mom we decided to have my mom fly us out to st. George for a month.  We ended up going with a month because there were a few events that I wanted to attend that were spaced about a month apart.

We flew home To st. George on the 15th of July.

Hayden got lucky and was invited to go sit and chat with the pilots. He was a bit shy and didn't say much but he did love going and seeing where they controlled everything.

The next day I attended my 10th high school reunion. It was so much fun to see old friends and catch up with them. We snapped a big group photo even though this isn't even a quarter of  of the class.

These two were my lovely dates and also roommates in College. Miki (middle) and I still wonder why we never hung out with Elleny (far right) more in high school.  It was fun to see them again!

I also got the award for longest distance traveled. Which most might find slightly pathetic... Including myself, but I am perfectly okay with that. It was such a fun day, and why not schedule to go to it if I was already planning on visiting!

Some old school photos that were in the slide show.

The next day the Indiana time change hit us hard. You wouldn't think 2 hours would make such a big difference but it really does.

The rest of the week we started trying to check things off on our bucket List. Which included LOTS of sunshine, swimming, splash pads, and sandbox time with the cousins.

Rosie had a rough patch the start of the trip. She ended up getting tonsillitis and needing to be a on a prescription to get better. Once she was feeling better she burned her poor little foot on a metal grate at the splash pad.  Her poor little fit was so blistered.
