Rosie Marie- 1 month

Dear Rosie baby,

You have officially been with is for 1 whole month! I can't believe how fast time had been flying. I wish it would slow down a little. It's amazing how I didn't realize how incomplete I was until I finally held you in my arms. You are the sweetest most calm baby. So calm that you didn't even cry when you were born!!!! The nurses and midwife didn't think you were breathing you were so quiet. You were just calm and happy to be with us finally.  You definitely brought a little piece of heaven and happiness during this somewhat trying time for your mama.  I've been so grateful for you and love you so much! I have loved cuddled, snuggling and nursing you. Your brother and sister simply adore you and always need to hold you. 

Here are a few things about your first month here on earth:

You started smiling at less than a week old.

You love to nurse! I've never had a baby that could nurse let alone likes nurse. It's a nice and kind of a stressful change.

You are a mommy's girl. If you are crying and in daddy's arms he will bring you close to me because the sound of my voice calms you down.

You love to be swaddled nice and tight.  I do that and give you a binkie and you are pretty much instantly happy. It's another thing that calms you down.

You love bath time, but you HATE getting dressed afterwards. You scream and scream until I nurse you.

You have already started sleeping 5.5-7 hours straight.

You love when Hayden and grace sing to you.

You hate your car seat.

The sound of water running instantly makes you stop crying.

You whimper when you get the hiccups because you don't like them.

You love to stare and watch your daddy.

You love to snuggle and be held. I have to baby wear you to get anything done.

We have naps together everyday. You sleep right on my chest.

You snort when you are really hungry. It's hilarious and adorable.

Occasionally you snore when you sleep. Also hilarious and really cute. 

You have THEE biggest eyes. I swear they take up half your face.

You are so alert and bright eyed. You came out that way. You just like to be awake, and Everyone comments on it. 

So far little one you have been the easiest baby. We are so grateful for your sweet spirit and love watching you grow and change everyday. I just wish you would do it a little slower.  We love our little Rosie Baby!
