Turkey trot

This last Saturday Ron's department held the annual 5k turkey trot. Ron and I thought it'd be fun to do as a family. Ron raced and finished in 23 minutes, while the kids and I walked. After Ron finished he ran back and found us so I could run the last mile.  I finally finished in 50 minutes.  Which I felt was pretty good for being 8.5 months pregnant and pushing almost 70 pounds in a stroller. I also wasn't the last to finish which was my ultimate goal. We had a great time, and have decided to make 5k's a family hobby.

Afte the race they had a raffle drawing and I actually won something!! I won a free noodle bowl from noodles and co. So for our Saturday night date night Ron and I went and enjoyed a cheap dinner alone. It was lots of fun!

I didn't get a picture of the family cause Hayden refused to participate and I looked AWFUL! So this is what ya get!!
