31 weeks and an ultrasound

We have made it to 31 weeks! Time seems to be slowing down a bit more, but I think it is due to the fact that I am growing increasingly more tired and uncomfortable by the minute.

Some new changes I've been experiencing have been indigestion.  This is a pregnancy first, and it is so gross. I feel like I have throw up clear up my throat constantly. There have been a couple times when little miss has kicked me in the stomach and I have thrown up. So the legs in the stomach has brought stomach aches and morning sickness back.  It hasn't been the most pleasant feeling that's for sure.

Good news is that little miss finally flipped head down!! The crazy part about this is that it happened in the middle of the night and I was dreaming about being pregnant and feeling the baby move. In the dream I felt  a huge movement like the baby did a full on flip. I remember thinking it was really odd that I had feeling in my dream, but woke up and realized it was real.  Ever since I've been feeling her twists and turns like crazy! Due to my anterior placenta when she was head up it was really rare to feel her. It's been a nice change.

I am feeling pretty good. Little miss has found a love for my stomach and rib cage and it's made it very difficult to breath but that is to be expected.  Cravings lately have been red meat, green smoothies and chocolate.

I had an ultrasound yesterday to see if my placenta was still low lying. The tech thought I was okay, but we are waiting for the official reading by the doctor to see if we are safe for a normal delivery. Still crossing my fingers. I really don't want a c section.

The plus to the ultrasound of course was seeing our little one. We got her re-measured and she right on track at 31 weeks. The tech again laughed at how long her legs are. They are measuring 35 weeks along (this makes sense why I have heart burn and indigestion!) she literally has no room for those long legs of hers.  Some people can't breath laying down. I literally have to either lay on my side, or stand up to breath. That is it. It's been difficult. So far she is long and skinny, weighing almost 3.5 pounds.

I got lucky to have an awesome tech!  She asked me if I would mind seeing her in 3D cause those were her favorite when people are that far a long. Little one proved to be stubborn and would only show half her face cause she was sleeping and using my placenta as her pillow. She wasn't thrilled when we woke her up to move. I didn't care though. I have never received 3D that far along and I wanted to see what she looked like! So far she is looking a lot like her siblings. She is absolutely adorable, and I can't wait to hold her in real life.

Other news... I passed my glucose test. Failed my anemia test, and barely passed my thyroid test by .1. This little girl is depleting me of everything!!!  This makes for a low functioning thyroid, low vitamin D, low iron, and low magnesium levels. It's ridiculous to see the amount of pills I take every day!  On the bright side I have discovered that yoga basically relieves all kidney pain and I haven't had one infection this whole pregnancy!! I have been doing it 3-4 times a week. It feels amazing.

9 more weeks till we meet our little one. Time is flying and creeping by at the same time. We can't wait!
