This is Ron's second year of his program, and a big year for him. He got offered a new Job as Graduate Lecturer. Which means he is teaching 12 credits and take 6 credits of graduate classes. This means he is teaching and learning full time on top of doing research. Plus he has a very pregnant wife and 2 kids at home! To say that he is busy is a total understatement. We are grateful for the pay check though!
In all seriousness I am so proud of his dedication and the work he puts forth. When he is officially done with his PhD he will have put forth up to 5 years just for his PhD, 2 years for his Masters, 4 for his bachelor's and up to 3 years with a Post Doc (this is after his PhD) If you added that up its up to 14 years of just college!!! He is my hero. One day we will be done with school, and making a real pay check and still have the luxury of having summers and holidays off. Until then I will just be grateful for such a dedicated and hard working husband.

Haha! I agree! That is pretty funny! Ron always was a bit of a nerd! :) Of course, Colum joined right in most of the time! I mean what couple would get together and watch Space Jam?!?! lol. School will be over before you know it! Ron is definitely a good husband going through school, but you are also a good wife for going right along with him and supporting him through it all!
