Okay so this post is actually 2 weeks late. But if you read the previous post you will know why. Its been a bit of a crazy month, but things seem to be looking up. Thank Heavens!!!
I finally seem to be getting my energy levels back. Thank heavens!!This sweet baby is taking up every nutrient in my body as well as sucking all the energy out of me. Good thing they are so worth it, and I do enjoy being pregnant for the most part.
Things about Pregnancy thus far:
My placenta is low lying and anterior. So basically it is a lot harder to feel this baby move or kick. Which is a total bummer!! I do feel it every once in a while and it makes my day. This baby doesn't kick or punch. It squirms. dances and stretches. We had our ultrasound done and even the tech was laughing at her. She would hardly move! She would stretch and readjust herself and go right back to sleeping.
Ron felt the baby move a couple of weeks ago. He got lucky that day. Normally she stops the moment I try to show him. It made the whole thing even more real to him. It is always so fun to see his face light up when he feels it.
Pregnancy cravings have been salsa and chips, fresh fruit and dr. pepper.
Clearly I am showing, but again it is still touch and go. Probably cause I had a little extra pudge to cover the bump up (stupid hypothyroid).
Grace goes around telling me and Ron that she has the baby in her belly. She is so cute, and hopefully she will do well when this baby comes.
Hayden is truly over the moon about it. He is so excited to have another baby at the house. He keeps telling me he is going to be the best big brother ever. He wants to help me do everything.
So far this pregnancy is flying by. Now I am 22 weeks, and due for another photo!! Crazy!!
We have gotten all of the nursery furniture in her room, and are now working on organizing and decorating it. It is a very slow process since I have to be careful with what I do and how much I do.
I haven't officially announced it on here, but we did decide that were going to find out what we were having once we found out about the low lying placenta and the chance of a c section. It basically ruled in that if I do have a c section this will be our last baby unless we have some divine intervention come into play. Hayden was also having a VERY hard time at the idea of getting another sister instead of a brother.
So officially we are having A GIRL!! We were so shocked (but I will tell that story later on). Ron and I are so excited for another girl (even though we would be excited either way).
We have decided on a name already. Well to be honest we knew the name long before I was even pregnant. We have decided on the name Rose possibly Rosalie middle name Marie. We just love the idea of having a little Gracie and Rosie running around, and by we I mean Ron. Which is totally adorable at how giddy he is about the idea which makes me adore the name Rose. Also it was my great grandma's middle name. Both my girl's will be named after her. I am leaning towards Rosalie or Rosilee (can't decide on spelling). It sounds more formal. I like it and it is a really old name just like Grace.
Life is great. We truly couldn't be happier about this little babe. We are all just so excited!! Even if there is a possible chance we will be spending Christmas in the Hospital.
