We added one more, and Grace made 4!
On December 29 baby #3 will arrive totaling the Garner family at 5!!!
We decided to announce our little surprise earlier than we normally do. Mostly because I figured either people are going to think I put on some pounds the last few weeks or they can know that I am just showing WAY early.
We are way surprised by this little baby coming our way. Heavenly Father decided that this baby couldn't come on our time table. Our timing was too slow, and needed to come much sooner. We are shocked, nervous and so excited for this little baby.
Here is the story:
Like I said we were surprised by this baby, but apparantly little Hayden knew all along there was a baby coming.
A month before we found out; hayden kept telling our friends "my mommy has a baby brother in her belly!" We were caught so off guard by his announcement and quickly put out any rumors that started. Apparantly he knew more than we did.
One night I noticed that I had heart burn which is WAY out of the normal thing for me and the next day had a horrible wave of nausea hit me. All I could think was I just want my bed and a ginger ale.
I told Ron of my suspicions, and he quickly out it out of my mind because we have had more pregnancy scares than we can count, plus I wasn't showing my normal signs of being pregnant. This time was different for me though. Ron shoved it out of his mind and I sort of did, but I always have to have a test tell me "no" before I drop it.
The next morning I decided to take a test to finally put it out of my mind. I had convinced myself I was being too paranoid. Like I said, this had happened many times before. I went back a half hour later to check it, and TA DA it said pregnant. I about fainted. I started shaking and my heart started racing. I was too nervous to be excited. Our other babies were planned! We weren't going to start trying until December and now that is when I am due!? Yikes!
Ron was shocked when I told him. He was still sleeping when I found out, so I put the test on our night stand along with a little note. He woke up to a major surprise. He was so sure I was just being paranoid.
Just to be clear......Ron and I refuse to say this sweet babe was "an accident." We know how babies are made; therefore, no Baby is an accident. We had a simple miscalculation of "fertile" days (tmi?). Then Heavenly Father and this sweet spirit simply took full advantage the situation, and The result is the best Christmas present ever!!
