October 2012

October was a rather eventful month!
Probably one of the favorite things we have done for Play Group Yet! He loved seeing all the baby cows at the dairy farm and petting them!

Ron running to the finish line for the St. George Marathon

Mama and the kiddo's at the pumpkin patch.

He just loved exploring the pumpkin patch.

Daddy and Hayden deciding on which pumpkins to get.

Mama and Gracie Painting Grace's pumpkin

The final Result. I picked Ron's pumpkin and told him to do a mushroom from Mario. He did a fantastic job, and I can't think of anything else that describes him so perfectly. My pumpkin always has our name written in it some how. This year was Charlotte's web inspired. Grace had a purple sparkly pumpkin with her foot print and her name. Hayden had a giant "H" and his hand prints along with his own creations. I loved how all of them turned out.

Bear Lake with the Avery's. One of our favorite things to do here in Logan is to go to bear lake and just hang out for the afternoon. Hayden loves to play in the dirt and Rocks.

Gracie Baby watching and envying her brother.

My favorite pictures of all time! Hayden and Chris and Daddy Sword fighting

Halloween. A Cave man and His Pet Dinosaur

A Witch and Her Black Kitten and her Dinosaur!
My little Black Cat.

October
  1. I took the kids to St. George for a week, and Ron followed shortly after.
  2. I got a calling to be apart of the compassionate service committee for church.
  3. Ron continues to work long hours between school, and the bike shop.
  4. Took hayden to a play group at a dairy farm. He got to feed a baby cow and pet it as well!
  5. After months of training Ron ran the marathon. He did a fantastic job. He completed it in 4 hours and 5 minutes.
  6. We blessed Grace on October 7th (that's going to be a different post)
  7. We went and did our traditional Pumpkin picking at the pumpkin patch. Except this year we didn't get to pick our pumpkins cause the ones on the vine were gone!
  8. We did our traditional pumpkin carving except we  painted our pumpkins because of Hayden. All while we ate and drank pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa.
  9. We met Chris and Steph in Bear Lake and spent a wonderful afternoon together.
  10. After much deliberating and too many issues to count, Ron quit the bike shop. Best decision we ever made next to marrying each other!
  11. We celebrated Halloween by going to our Ward Trunk Or Treating. Hayden and I also went trick or treating to all the businesses down main street. We try to go somewhat themed every year. This year was a total success. I was up till two making Grace's and Ron's Costumes, but I love how they turned out!
