St. George and other things

Since Ron was up to his eye balls in midterm tests, papers and grading, Hayden and I decided to venture down south a week early before spring break. We had the most lovely time in St. George. Let me tell you. It was much needed break from everyday life. We sure missed our Husband/ daddy, but that 70 degree weather was pure heaven. Ron later joined us the following Friday where he too, enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.

Here are some of the things we did.

#1 thing we always do is go visit Grandpa at work. Surprisingly there are lots of things for little boys to enjoy at IFA. Honestly who wouldn't enjoy it. Its a little kids, and a big kids play store. We love visiting grandpa at work.

Hayden Rode the "Tractor" as he calls them with grandpa. It really is a fork lift, but Hayden thinks anything that doesn't look like the typical car is a tractor. He bawled and bawled when my dad turned it on. Apparently he likes toy tractors better than the real thing.

Grandpa's work in the Spring time is especially fun. They bring in shipments of bunnies and chicks for Easter. Grandpa spoils Hayden and lets him hold them or pet them. Something that is generally not allowed to the general public.
We also "enjoyed" the St. George Carousel. Hayden bawled and bawled when I put him on the horse. He wanted nothing to do with it. So we sat on the lame benches instead. He loved it after that. In fact he cried when we took him off. By the way... Hayden's face is priceless in the photo above. I love it.

So we let him ride one last time with "Damma"
We enjoyed the park one day with Miki, her puppy Rocky and Baby Kyler. It was fun and Hayden loved being outside and playing fetch with Rocky.
I love this photo... He is getting much to big. It makes me sad.

I babysat Mr. Kyler. I love him... He is the sweetest happiest baby.
This girl got herself hitched. We have been through everything together. Going on 20 years of being besties. So glad I got to share in her wedding day. So excited to start this phase of our friendship together. Who knew this day would come when we are both married, and starting our own families.

Left to Right: Me, Chantel, Miki, and Meg

A girl is lucky to have one best friend to giggle, share secrets with, and grow up with.

I got triple lucky to have 3 besties. I honestly don't know what I would have done with out these girls growing up and now. I just love them to death!
Love this girl... We have been through so much together... Including house plant shopping.  Sounds dull, but nothing is ever dull when you have no baby and you are with your best friend.  I lose track of time  when I am with her.

Here is Terry.  We did awesome picking it out...

Of course a trip to the horses is always a must.
Pushing wheel barrows and playing fetch  with the dogs all while getting dirt in your shoes... He is such a boy. I love it

Rode horses with Grandpa and thought it was the coolest thing. He would yell "HOOOOOWRSE"  and giggle. What a little stinker.

Hayden is starting to talk A TON!! He blows me away. He is starting to do some 2-3 word sentences and just say lots of words. He is really starting to make Ron and I laugh our heads off.

Haydenisms:

So one night while Ron and I went on a triple date Hayden decided he wanted to call grandpa on my mom's phone.

He called my dad and he answered. My dad was so nice to listen to is garble gibberish, but when hayden wants to talk on the phone he will chat your ear off. Eventually my dad hung up. hahaha

Hayden knows how to use smart phones. It's funny and pretty ridiculous. He called  again (all by himself mind you).

My dad again answered being the nice grandpa he is, but then he hung up. Hayden seriously is a chatter box.

Hayden called again, but this time my dad let it go to voice mail. Hayden got so mad and huffy. He yelled in his growly Hayden voice:

"DAMMPA!!! YOU LISTEN TO ME!"

I laughed myself sick over this story. He is so funny to watch talk on the phone.

Other things I love that he says:

When he says goodbye to someone he says: See ya latow goos (see ya later guys)
When something happens abruptly for instance a song changes on a cd or something.. Hayden gets this shocked look on his face throws his arms in the air and says "What Happened!"

Needless to say... We love our little boy, and we love this stage!

Baby Girl Update:

Forgot to get a 20 week photo... bummer. Oh well. Definitely growing! 128 days to go! All is well!

Terrible picture of both of us... But Hayden saw the camera and he ran in the picture and yelled"CHEESE!" So now I love it. Even if I look like a complete goober.

That picture of Hayden hating the carousel is PRICELESS. I seriously love it. This is making me excited to visit StG for Easter!
