Hayden 15 months

Lets talk about this awesome little boy shall we? He needs to grace our blog with his cute presence.

I can't get over how much Hayden has changed this last month. ITS INSANE! 14-15 months for him have been chalk full of development. Not that he isn't always developing, but he is really starting to show it. He has the funniest personality. He is a little shy but once he opens up to you he is a totally comedian. You can tell he likes to be the life of the party and he loves attention from people.

Here are some of his developments lately. Actually quite a few cause I haven't talked about him for a while.

* He doesn't drink bottles anymore hasn't for well over two months now.
* He is starting to really run now.
* He is getting into the mimicking stages copying things we do, inflections in our voice and even words
* He goes to bed like a champ!!! Does not cry one bit. Just snuggles up with his blanket, lional, and pillow and he is out for a good 2-3 hour nap or 10 hours for bedtime
* He's learned to walk backwards and he thinks its hilarious everytime he does it. hahaha
* We started working with him on his colors. So far he can say blue
* Anything that is electronic is a cell phone (remotes, phones, wimotes, etc...) . He will put it up to his ear and jabber then put it up to your ear and you have to talk too
* Whenever he sees food or I bring dinner to the table he always says "MMMMMmmmmmmm!!!" Makes me feel really good
* Still loves Garbage cans only now he likes to throw everything away.
* He loves blocks! He will stack them for hours
* He loves water any kind
* He loves dirt any kind.
* Still growls like crazy only now he knows that it entertains anyone if he growls "mama or dada" so he'll do it constantly then giggle
* Always Happy
* He is soooo well behaved! We get people constantly that always comment on what a good baby he is.
* He loves being outside. You have to be very careful about saying it around him. If you do he'll run straight for the Front door.
* Every night before bed we snuggle and sing songs. Yes he sings right along with me
* He loves to READ!!!!
* He loves Music
* He still has only 6 teeth, but the seventh one came through two days ago on the bottom and he is cutting molars as I type. Poor thing has huge blood blisters where they are coming in. Teething looks so painful! Poor baby
* He is a jabber mouth!!! He talks and talks and talks and talks!!!! Its insane
* He loves to wave. He is way good at it too. I will take him on a walk and he will wave to every care and every person that walks by.
* He is a total flirt. He sees a girl he instantly starts trying to wink, and giggle and wave to them.
* He knows how to whistle. Its pretty funny
* If you ask him what a doggy says he'll stick his tongue out and start panting like a dog

Here are some funny stories about chunky recently:

Since he is cutting teeth he hasn't been feeling well at all. Teething for him = nasty diaper rash. I mean bad to the point sometimes his bum bleeds sooooo sad.

Yesterday Ron was changing a his diaper and everytime he whiped hayden's bum he'd say "ow ow ow ow ow ow" Then finally Ron got the Rash cream out and put it on his bum and Hayden instantly said "ahhhhhhhhh" hahaha so funny. I knows diaper cream equals relief. Sad that he has a rash, but funny thats what he does everytime now.

When we were in Florida we saw a convertible drive down the road with the top town. It was so muggy and humid to us outsiders that we said "why would they go with the top down" to which was the reply - "so they don't get tan lines!" Well I wasn't really listening and didn't get it, so Ron explained to me that the "top" was just a joke because we'd been talking about nude sun bathers in Florida - when he said that Hayden piped up and said "Ohhhhh!" It was priceless. Even Hayden now understands the joke!
