#1 on 500 north

So for the last 3 months or so, I have spent hours on the computer researching and searching for the new potential Garner Residence. Finally after my 500th check on craigs list (actually I think I've looked more than 500 times) it paid off!!!!!

So yesterday I told Ron of my fabulous find, and told him we really needed to make another trip to Logan to find our new home. He agreed. So I made tons of phone calls and lined up about 10 places for us to walk through and talk with potential units and managers. I called and asked my dear brother in law and sister Chris and Stephanie if they wouldn't mind watching hayden for the day. They agreed. They're honestly the best we don't know what we would do without them.

So it was off to Logan. Ron and I were excited cause it was a whole selfish day to ourselves to be romantic and mushy but still get our business done in Logan.

So I packed a picnic and we ate on the temple grounds. It was such a beautiful day that we had to take advantage of it. Plus picnics are way more fun and way cheaper than eating out.

This is the second place we saw today.

Before we even saw this place we were crossing our fingers that it would work. It is super close walking distance to the University, two amazing parks, and the Logan temple. IDEAL!!! Such a cute little neighborhood, and this jewel was tucked down in an alleyway so you can't even see it there!!! Awesome!

Ron and I walked in and we were in LOVE!!! The family room was a GREAT size and a PERFECT fit for us, but you can't judge a place just on this room.

But Really we walked in and I think Ron and I were already sold on it. It has brand new carpet and they're repainting when the tenants who are living in it now move. Awesome!!

So we step in the Kitchen and BAM!!!! Great size again. Granted its way older and a bit outdated but it has AWESOME cupboard space and it has a dishwasher.

We were really happy with it.

The bathroom not our favorite cause of the glass shower door. Makes for very difficult bathing hayden time, but this is minor and definately livable. Its full size too!

This is our bedroom. This is a little smaller than our room now, but Ron and I have very basic simple furniture in our room. We have just a dresser, nightstand, and bed. This gem also has built in drawers and cupboards in the wall for extra storage. It also has a HUGE CLOSET!

I couldn't get a picture of the soon to be Hayden's room. Her precious babes were sleeping soundly in there, and I wouldn't dare go in to take pictures and risk waking them up. Totally rude!

Believe me when I say this. MASSIVE!!! It held a crib, toddler bed, huge recliner, and bookshelves with tons of room for them to play left over. This too had built in's and a huge closet. Great for storing toys and other nessecities that we have, like food storage and such.

Our Garden area. Right now we have a little apartment garden in pots. You better believe next year it will be full of foodie goodness!!!

Here is the backyard. Fenced and perfect for running and playing with Hayden. I might be teaching him to get on his back and roll down that hill. SO FUN!!!

Here is our side yard. Again GREEN, LUSH, and BEAUTIFUL!

The downfalls of the place is that there isn't great storage, but honestly Ron and I talked about it and we will rent a storage unit and get very inovative with buying shelves and using every inch a we can to store the necessities, but a normal 2 bedroom this nice in the area we're in is around $600-$700 or more! This place with utilities, internet, and a storage unit along with rent at the most will be $650. Where as with other places we'd be paying around $800 a monthwith out a storage unit!!! So GREAT!

July 20th couldn't come soon enough.

Until then I'm going to move out, go to St. George, and spend time with the ever so great and lovely Avery Family. Thanks again you two for taking our baby chub this weekend, letting us barge in on you for a month, and just always being there.

LOVE YOU BOTH!!!
