Here comes the Sun... DO do Do DO!!!!!!

The weather decided to finally be decent to us little idahoans. Our week has been chalk full of bbqs, picnics, snow cones, parks and beautifuls views. It has been absolutely wonderful!!!! I have actually got a sun burn. I love it!

I told Ron that apart from moving to Logan this is what I want my summer to be full of. He agreed. I know that once fall comes I'll have a full time student as a husband again, plus he'll be working, plus I will probably go back to school. So for now I'm enjoying having my husband home by noon everyday, a happy baby boy who is soooo well behaved when he gets to run around outside, tans, longs walks to get snow cones, and night time barbecues full of horse shoes and badminton. Just thinking of it, I think of Paradise. This is what summer is all about. Family Time. Today we went on a long BEAUTIFUL drive to Targhee National Forest, hitting up Teton, Tetonia, Driggs, Victor and Swan Valley where we stopped at Fall creek to see the gushing falls and rivers. It was absolutely gorgeous the entire time! I was in love!

Targhee National Forest

It was beautiful!

Mister Hayden. He wasn't a fan of the driving much, but he loved being outside when we stopped. He is definately an outdoor boy.

The Gang minus stephie.

When I was little we used to hike down this waterfall and go swimming every summer!

Because of all the rainfall and the lack of snow melting until now the rivers, canals, and ditches are at maximum capacity! Hiking down this would be suicide now.

This kid is a swimmer. He loves water.

Gets it from his mama.

I can't get enough of the views from Victor to Fall creek! It reminded me of europe. It was stunning. I didn't want to leave.

I call these two the two stinkies..

I took this while we were driving. One thing I will miss is the Idaho summers. Man oh Man they're amazing!!!!

The pictures below were taken earlier this week on our first sunny day we've really had that wasn't windy.

I spent the morning at the park on a play date with some other mamas. Ron met up with us, anf we got snow cones, sat, talked and ate.

Later that night after naps and such. I packed up a picnic, and we went back to the park with our friends Mike and Michelle. We ate, played frisbee and kickball.

Needless to say hayden was so pooped after his first full day out in the sun.

One thing I will give to rexburg, They sure do know how to make a beautiful park. There are a few that I just love, and they're all so different. I really hope Logan is this way. Its weeks like this where I don't want to move away from here, but then I remember the 9 month long winters and I start packing my bags. Glad we're going to leave this place with such wonderful memories. Thank you sun for finally shining!!!

I checked the weather as we were driving home today.

Nothing but clouds, thunderstorms and lightening the rest of the week.

I'm so glad I got to be outside while it was nice, cause it looks like another week of being cooped up in the house.

Logan in surrounded by beautiful mountains. The pass from Logan to SLC is breath taking. I'm sure you will love it. I know of at least one big park there in Logan and the grounds around the Temple are really pretty. When you are settled you should do a picnic there.
