Well I realize that I haven't really done a good life update post in a while. Lets face it life has been pretty crazy these last couple of weeks. So where to begin?
Ron is busy doing school and he is almost done!!!! YAHOO!!!! He'll graduate next month. I think the thing that made it real for both of us is when his student account got charged for his cap and gown. Yes, he is walking. He wasn't going to, but we got to talking about it, and I told him that he might regret it in the future. Finishing his undergrad is a big deal!!! He stays pretty dang busy. When he is home he is relieving me from taking care of Hayden, and when he is at school he is doing homework, and working. He is working a lot with the exercise physiology department. He is a mentor for one of the teachers and his helping him right one A lab manual. Basically he is smart and helping write a text book. He is also a career advisor/ teacher's assistant for the department as well. He grades tests and papers constantly and he also helps students how to map out there majors so they can graduate. He is an awesome husband and father. I don't know what I would do without him.
Hayden is our new adorable little boy. Already I can't picture life without him. He makes life very stressful at times, but its all well worth it. We took him for his two week appointment on Monday. He is now 8 lbs 7 oz and is 20.5 inches long. He has gained 1.5 lbs and grown 1.5 inches all in less than two weeks!!! ITS INSANE HOW MUCH THEY GROW!!! The doctor said he is really healthy and everything looks good. That makes Ron and I happy. I feel like we're doing something right. He is becoming a lot more alert, and can even smile with his eyes open when we are playing with him. Its not every time obviously, but we love it when he surprises us with it. He is also really really strong. He can hold his head up like you can't believe, and has been able to since day one. The doctor even commented on how strong he was. Again it makes me happy. He is quite the snuggle bug. He wont fall asleep unless he is swaddled or cuddling up in your neck. Its so cute. Last night every time I layed him in bed after I knew he was asleep, he would wake up because he wasn't snuggliing with me. It was darling and annoying at the same time. I really wanted to sleep. So we opted for the couch. He slept on my chest while I slept and got a kink in my neck. It was good bonding time though, and he made me feel loved.
I am busy being in school. I am soooooo grateful that I only have to go tuesday and thursday mornings. I love being at home with Hayden and being a wife and mom. I'm not much of a wife currently. Ron has been doing most of the house work. I feel bad, but Hayden is with me constantly. I try to help when he is asleep. My recovery from hayden has gone amazingly!!! I actually don't feel like I've had a kid. I am pretty close to my pre pregnancy weight I'm only about 6 lbs away. I am back in to my pre prego jeans (most importantly my skinny jeans) That was an amazing accomplishment. I can't wait to be able to work out and gain my muscle back. My stomach is GIGGLY!!!! I freaked ron out the other day. hahahaha The beauties of having a baby I guess. I'm constantly tired from having the babe around but its all worth it.
We're all doing really well. We're all happy and healthy, just a tired... well a lot tired.
Life is fabulous and we can't complain!!!!
