Update

So the rest of thursday my body slowly decided to go down hill. I was talking to my mom while laying in the bathtub, and told her this was my third hot bath that day. She told me to go check my temperature. I believed her. I know that fever feeling in my body very well. My skin hurts to touch, I'm either so cold I can't get warm or so hot I can't get cold, headaches, and just body aches. This continued thursday night and into Friday morning. Lucky for me I had a follow up appointment with my doctor. Hopefully they could give me good news.

I went to the doctor He just said well this is good and bad. Its very good that we found out was going on so quickly, and bad because if it gets worse then I have to go see a urologist and see about getting stents put in... that should be fun. He said I would know for sure if I get to that point. (PRAY THAT I DON'T!!!! This is already hurts like swear words I can't imagine what its like in full throttle.. actually I can I just don't want to experienceit again) I proceeded to tell him that I had a fever that morning and battled one all day on thursday. So he ordered more blood work to by done to check my white blood cell count. My right arm has been punctured twice this week in the same spot..ouch

Well the doctor comes in and this made my day, I guess cause I felt like he truly cared and concerned about me. He came in and said "Well Sunshine... you're white blood cell count went from a 9.8 on wednesday to a 14.6 today. Thats a lot more then I would like it to jump. So I need to give you a more powerful antibiotic and get an IV in you to get some meds in you now."

So they moved us to the more comfortable room.. more for me not ron. I got the recliner he got the little rolly stool the doctor uses.

I'm going on a tangent now here it is

I love my doctor's office probably cause I can compare it with another since I switched doctors. I had the same exact pains back in december, and my doctor before just looked at me and said its probably just round ligament. ya right!!! This doctor's office actually listened to me, figured out what was wrong and are now treating it!! Not just treating it though. They are doing there very best to keep my as comfortable as possible. One nurse came in and said I bet you're just about done being pregnant aren't you (she said this in a nice, this truly must be hard sort of way) She goes on being pregnant without complications is hard enough and this is a major complication. Anyways thats not even that. When I got my IV the doctor made sure I got to sit in a recliner. The nurse asked me if I needed anything juice, water crackers or anything. She even offered an electric blanket. I felt like pregnant royalty. ha!!!

tangent over

Anyways They hooked my up to the IV and started injecting antibiotics into me. It took about 35 minutes or so. I was feeling much better and I just decided to go home and take a nap afterwards, and ron was off to school and to get my prescription. By the time he got home the fever was back though and I was becoming miserable again. I took some tylenol and the prescription. I got the idea over the last couple of days that this is going to an uncomfortable enough trimester that I might give into tylenol. Especially if I have a fever... Its not worth risking my child's life or mine for that matter. Anways It was another long night I woke up feeling feverish again, took my temperature 102.5 holy crap seriously? So i took more tylenol and I went back to bed. Ron said I was like a heater I was so hot. I just new I was sweating to the point that my sheets were damp... disgusting!!!! Anyways by the time this morning actually hit my fever had broke, and I for the first time in more than seventy two hours was sleeping more than an hour at a time.

I am hoping that this is a sign the medication is finally working. I am beginning to feel better. My kidneys still hurt and I'm beginning to think that won't ever go away until this baby gets here but I am getting to the point that I can actually sleep, I'm not comvulsing so bad that I can't carry a glass of water, and I only had 2 showers yesterday instead of 3!!!!

Oh my gosh, Maggie, you poor girl! But like you said in your other posts, it could be a lot worse. You're doing awesome and before you know it, that little handsome man will be in your arms and you'll know that it'll all have been worth it. Love ya, girl!
