Brigham Young said...
"Every good and perfect gift cometh from God. Every discovery in science and art, that is really true and useful to mankind has been given by direct revelation from God, though but few acknowledge it. It has been given with a view to prepare the way for the ultimate triumph of truth, and the redemption of the earth from the power of sin and Satan. We should take advantage of all these great discoveries, the accumulated wisdom of ages, and give to our children the benefit of every branch of useful knowledge, to prepare them to step forward and efficiently do their part in the great work."
School started today, and this quote makes me feel like its not a such a waste of time after all. It actually gives me some motivation to keep going. I just have to remember that all he knowledge I am gaining is a gift from God. Makes going to school a lot more enjoyable if you ask me. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did.

That is a such a true quote. Way to look on the bright side of school. I start next week and I am not sure if I am excited for it or not. Oh well.
I am cheering all of my children forward with school, you are never too old, too busy, too anything to not gain your knowledge. With the capabilities afford to us with the internet, the opportunity to reach for the stars is now, the opposite of reach is......... exactly!!!! I am proud of all my children in striving for that education in life, whether it is a formal education or that of life's good experiences... keep up the good example, someday you will know the joy of accomplishment in the knowledge you obtain--The mostest-- MOM
