Fun Trip to the ER.... yeah right

Since I'm putting off writing my paper yet again; I decided to tell you about our fun little experience yesterday. So the last couple of weeks I haven't been feeling the greatest. I kept getting this weird pain in my side and feeling really nauseous. When I woke up yesterday to go to work I had the pain in my side again! Not thinking anything of it I proceeded through out my day with a constant pain in my side. I was beginning to think it was really weird. Normally it would go away after an hour or two; instead it just kept getting worse and worse and finally it got to the point that I was laying on my bed in tears. Ron came in to check on me and being the good husband that he is, just held and rocked me while I cried (so cute right?) After about an hour or so of crying ron and I decided this could possibly be serious. So after a blessing and two I B profen we were off to the emergency room. I know it seems a bit dramatic, but we have school insurance, and the school health center, where we would have normally gone was closed. After checking in at the desk we waited and waited. The doctor was good about making me second guess myselft and making me think that it was probably all in my head. Asking if it was that time of the month or if could be pregnant. They first check my appendics because it was my right side that had been giving me the problem, but since it had been a come and go thing they ruled it out. Next after running further tests they ruled out egctopic pregnancy and checked me for an ovarian cyst; which to my relief came out negative. My diagnosis was rather a serious bladder infection. I am very glad it was only that, but I decided I feel rather embarrassed that I had to go to the emergency room for a dumb, very painful bladder infection. The doctors and my mom had to assure me that it was a good thing I went in cause it could have gone to my kidney's, and could have required me to be checked into the hospital. So today I sit at home drinking bottle after bottle of water staring at my computer screen contemplating the four page paper I have to write. Fun eh? Oh and to top it off; Ron just told me he is doing an organic chemistry lab; where he is working with a chemical that can make a guy sterile if even the smallest drop touches your skin? Should I not worry about this? Cause I am really nervous about it.
