Ok I'll explain the monkey... We were on our way to Peter Paul fortress and There was a guy on the streets selling pictures with the monkey for like 3 dollars. So I couldn't pass it up... What you wouldn't know is that the moment I picked up the monkey he tried to bite my cheek off, but then he looked right at the camera when his owner told him to. Ahh -- it looks like Russia!!! The monkey is cool. When I was there -- there was an elephant that I had to get a picture with -- you would think we were in Africa with all the weird wild life. Love ya-- Rachel
when scott, my husband, and i returned we found the cutest bear to take a picture with - it was fun! it was right in front of the hermitage - and i had to laugh when rachel told me to check out the monkey you found. at least he/she looks warm!!! ps - check the gate out that surrounds the park right across from the cathedral! it is amazing iron work.
