My best friend Meg, kens, I got the opportunity to throw one of our best friend Jessica a bridal shower. It was a lot of fun and a lot more stressful then I had imagined. Once The invitations were out and We quickly got to work on the important stuff like eating. When entertaining guests especially Americans you must always have food. What we didn't know was how much planning goes into it. By the day of the shower We thought we had everything. But now we'd randomly think of things we forgot like lemons or grapes or something pathetic and time consuming. The fun part was shopping for her gift. We all went in on it. The rest of the M's I mean. We got of course lots of lingerie. But We didn't stop there. We figured this is one of our best friends we are going all out. So we got her fuzzy handcuffs, body paint (chocolate flavor hahaha) Sparkling cider with glasses chocolates, and a way cute coupon book. It turned out to be a success we got her embarrassed. Our whole goal. ha ha The games we played were make up the bride where we took toilet paper and made her a dress while she was the model. We also gave her a crown and veil that said bride on it. With a plunger as her staff cause she was "taking the plunge" creative right? We also had her husband to be chris answer some questions on a video. She had to answer them right or she had to chew bubblegum. I think she got to 4 or 5 she knows her man, but there were only 12 questions. We also did this rose thing where we had 24 red roses and 1 white. Chris wrote 24 reasons why he loved her and the white rose was the number one reason why. It turned out cute she held a vase with water and we gave her a rose and then told her the 25 things. All in all the food was great (if meg and I say so ourselves) and the games turned out great! It turned out to be a good night but i'm glad its over. People aren't kidding when they say its stressful.!
